A Homebuyer Survey is a detailed inspection of a property’s condition, designed to identify any significant defects or issues that may impact its value or require attention.
A Building Survey is a comprehensive inspection of a property’s condition. For older properties, properties with much larger sizes, properties obviously in poor condition, properties with unique features, or properties with significant renovation and/or conversion work plans, it is recommended.

A party wall is a shared wall or structure between two adjoining properties. It can also include party fence walls or walls that separate different sections of a property.

The Level 3 report was detailed and thorough, identifying issues I had not even considered and providing practical, realistic cost advice that aligned with builder quotes. It included clear photos, including helpful drone images of the roof.
Nasir was also very willing to talk everything through, spending time on the phone to explain findings and answer questions. Being verifiable on the RICS accreditation site was an added reassurance.
Pricing wasn’t the cheapest, but felt fair for the level of detail and service. There were a few typos, and while the full report took 7 working days, I did receive a same-day overview via a call I initiated.
Overall, a very positive experience – thorough, professional, and reassuring, with only minor points to note. The survey gave me the clarity I needed to make an informed decision and understand what I’d be taking on.
